In class we have been in book clubs, and we have been jotting, A LOT. We have jotted so much that we made a video on it. Let me know how I did below by leaving a comment!
A few weeks ago, my class and I picked an explorer to study on. We were supposed to come EXPERTS on our person. We thought that we were going to take a test on this person, but instead we created a Keynote based slideshow called Narrable. I picked Jacques Cartier (JOCK Car-t-air) from France. Let me know how I did by leaving a comment below!
I had so much fun with my dad Clay. We had fun looking at past photos and filling out the Keynote! We enjoy playing golf, playing horse, going hunting and fishing, going to Athens to cheer on the DAWGS, Going to the farm, and being on the boat with my dad. I enjoyed having my dad here with me and I hope we can do it again.
We write persuasive writing pieces because they help people (authors) to share their opinion with the world. It is a way to tell people what you think without telling them, like saying something you didn’t say. You make a claim about an issue you’re passionate about, and you have to convince readers to be on your side about this topic too. You need to teach others and inform them with knowledge, facts, stats, and make them change the reader’s minds. That is why we write persuasive writing pieces.
Small Moment Introduction
Last week as our writing assignment, we revised our small moment writing piece. The biggest difference I found in my writing is that, I wasn’t using my comas correctly. So the main focus for me was correcting my comas. Compound sentences also would fall under that category with no run on sentences. I also was focused on dialogue rules. Hey why don’t YOU leave a comment below on how I did!
